Ledgr is a small team building core infrastructure that developers trust with their money. We don't hire for roles. We hire people who are exceptionally good at what they do.
We are building the system of record that financial software runs on. That means every line of code carries real weight - a bug in a ledger isn't a UI glitch, it's someone's money in the wrong place. We take that seriously, and we want people who do too.
The team is deliberately small. Everyone works across the stack, talks to customers, and ships to production. There are no layers between you and the work. Decisions happen in conversations, not committees.
We don't maintain a list of open roles because the best people we've worked with rarely fit a job description. If you are exceptionally good at what you do - engineering, design, go-to-market, operations, something we haven't thought of - we want to hear from you.
We don't lead with ping-pong tables. Here is what actually matters to the people building Ledgr.
We move fast, but never at the expense of correctness. A ledger that doesn't balance is a liability. We write code we can reason about, test exhaustively, and ship with confidence.
No tickets, no hand-offs. You understand the problem, build the solution, ship it, and watch it run. The feedback loop is short and the context is yours.
We'd rather do fewer things and do them right. A clean API, a correct journal, a clear error message. The details compound.
We share context openly - with each other and with customers. No information hoarding, no politics. If something is broken, we say so and fix it.
Everyone here builds. We don't have people whose job is to tell other people what to do. If you like making things, you'll like it here.
Infrastructure lives for decades. We make decisions that are right for the long run - in architecture, in relationships, and in how we treat people.
We don't post job descriptions - we look for people who are extraordinarily good at what they do. If that's you, introduce yourself. Tell us what you've built, what you care about, and why Ledgr.
Include anything that shows your work - a GitHub, a portfolio, a side project, a paper. We read every email.
